Meet Your Kundalini Yoga Instructor

Nihal Atma is your guide in finding a deeper sense of wholeness and consciousness. Since 2015, Nihal has devoted himself to the practice of Kundalini yoga and meditation. In 2018, he officially began teaching students throughout the Bay Area how to use Kundalini as a tool towards inner peace and balance. As a student of Shanta Marie, he sees himself as a conduit for her teachings as he continues his apprenticeship under her tutorage.

Prior to becoming a teacher of Kundalini yoga, Nihal spent years in the fashion industry and also holds a degree from the Academy of Art University. Additionally, he is currently working towards an immersive UX Design Course at General Assembly in San Francisco.

Helping his students connect to their inner divinity, faith, and consciousness is Nihal’s divine purpose. By connecting his secular experience to a greater purpose, he infuses every class with a sense of true connection.

Nihal speaks directly to his students through waveforms, vibrations, and flow. Each of his classes focuses on simply being. Being in the present moment through breathwork and body movement.

Meditation is the pathway to inner peace. However, there are many different meditation techniques to guide you towards your truth.

During Nihal’s yoga and meditation classes, mantra recitations are used to tap into a particular sequence, rhythm, and position to incite the brain and body’s natural chemical reactions. The result is unleashed inner power and a sense of calm that penetrates well beyond surface-level happiness.
